5 Remedies for Relieving Mosquito Bite Itch

The old folk remedy typically involved applying a dab of peppermint toothpaste, but you can also use peppermint essential oil as a less messy option.

Aloe Vera

Aloe gel has natural healing properties that are effective on everything from mild wounds to indigestion. It can also help relieve itches. The soothing properties calm inflammation and reduce pain while speeding the healing process. You can apply the gel directly from the plant if you have one at home, or buy bottled aloe. If you choose to use bottled aloe, consider refrigerating it first so you get the benefits of the cold as well as the gel.
